Maria + Dan’s Lake Tahoe lakeside wedding….I honestly don’t know where to start! It’s taken hours to sift through the hundreds and hundreds of images Heidi Geldhauser from Our Labor of Love sent over to us. The wedding, the dinner, the perfect summer night, the gorgeous bride and groom…probably going to be the longest post of the year. It’s just that yummy.
This wedding was a compilation of such talented vendors and one smokin’ hot Navy boy and his traveling nurse! It started with a sweet email from Maria in January who described in detail what she visualized for her wedding. We were already booked solid, but something about this girl just made me buckle!
We found a date in late July (during our one month siesta) and everything fell into place. Calls were made to our favorite vendors who we knew would come through on such short notice and everyone worked together beautifully to make this happen for our sweet Maria!
For starters, my lovely lovely ridiculously talented friend Heidi just happened to be sitting right next to me when Maria emailed. She looked at me and said, “lets make this work!” Oh I love that girl!
Will Becker, as always, killed it with his mixes throughout the night which included a last minute skit by the Groom and Best Man (scroll down and check out the flight suits!)
Accents by Sage, who constantly constantly blows my mind with her creativity once again created a phenomenal table scape! Gorgeous purples, yellows, burlap and true natural linens over a 60 foot table just blew our minds. It was perfection! Sweet Cakes by Rebecca delivered such a gorgeous red velvet cake and as always it was phenomenal and scrumptious! And one again…Tiffiny Tredinnick styled these lovely ladies in such Old Hollywood gorgeousness. Sean Cummings, the Lake Tahoe Bagpier is truly truly such an awesome guy and so talented! He was such a joy to work with.
If there is something that you soon to be brides can take from someone like Maria + Dan it’s their ability to take it all in. To enjoy your day….I am such a firm believer that the energy you bring to your day, to your whole wedding process sets the ton for your entire wedding experience. It does ladies, I promise you!
